Two Very Special Books

Today I let you have a peak at my process for two very special books. Each book is made with pine wood covers, sanded smooth and finished with danish oil. Each contains 100 pages of artist grade/archival 70lb paper. Hand sewn using the ancient coptic stitch with black, waxed linen thread. The script was burned onto each cover by a method called pyrography.  These two books have been donated to a very special local charity.
