WEST Winter Design Challenge

Entries for the Winnipeg Etsy Street Team Winter Design Challenge are up on the WEST blog! The challenge was "Winter", more specifically, how to make the best of it. We've had a lot of snow this year and a lot of us are looking forward to spring! Head on over to the WEST blog to vote for your favourite!

My submission is this coptic stitched journal. The wood covers are sanded smooth and the tree branch design is hand burned using a method called "pyrography". The artwork is my own original. I'm looking forward to the trees budding outside! The covers are protected with a fine coat of danish oil.

This book contains 100 blank, hand torn pages of acid free 70lb (104gsm) weight drawing paper and measures approx. 15.5 cm x 11.5 cm x 2.5cm (6" x 4.5” x 1”).
